Anydvd isn't doing anything to BD+ other than copying the files. So BD+ is still there and limits your options as to what you can do with your discs. And if i understand it correctly playing back the backups only works with certain versions of PowerDVD. Do you really want to have to use an eventually very outdated software until the end of time?
I would like to see BD+ completely removed so i can backup my discs any way i want, reencode them, burn them on Blurays, basically do anything i feel like with the movie i paid good money for and not be limited to what a movie studio thinks i should be allowed to do. And i believe that is what in October someone from Slysoft announced should be available before the end of the year.
