I think we will know when a release has been made which cracks BD+.
 
I think i remember reading something about before the end of the year, but i doubt thats gonna happen now, unless they work during the holidays.
 
well, right now are their any bd+ titles it can't break?
 
Anydvd isn't doing anything to BD+ other than copying the files. So BD+ is still there and limits your options as to what you can do with your discs. And if i understand it correctly playing back the backups only works with certain versions of PowerDVD. Do you really want to have to use an eventually very outdated software until the end of time?
I would like to see BD+ completely removed so i can backup my discs any way i want, reencode them, burn them on Blurays, basically do anything i feel like with the movie i paid good money for and not be limited to what a movie studio thinks i should be allowed to do. And i believe that is what in October someone from Slysoft announced should be available before the end of the year.

backing up is one thing but not being able to play certain discs is another problem.im having probs with die hard 4 and simpsons movie,neither will play with any dvd,and telling us to use powerdvd 3104 isent a help bcause you cant get it anywhere.p.s.
im a great fan of any dvd.:doh:
