    Thanks for the update! I have been a long time customer of all your software with lifetime Slysoft updates and would gladly support the Redfox with new licenses. Please offer "lifetime with Redfox" as that is usually what I like to purchase. Cheers!

    Elby has the ball in their corner. They will not advertise a third party protection breaker like AnydvdHD. They just advertise that they can do uncopyprotected blurays. I was hoping elby could recommend a third party that would work great with their software other than AnydvdHD.

    I am so grateful for all the help some of the posters on here have been for me and some of the moderators. Slysoft has been a great help to me. I am sad to see them close. However, so far DVD's are still backing up fine. If CloneBD/AnyDVDHD stops working, I could always go back to try this...

    I don't get anything with the beta site. :( Why doesn't Slysoft just post an alternative link to download AnyDVD? I was able to get 7.6.9.0 here for now: http://www.techspot.com/downloads/468-anydvd.html

    Problem with download

    When the error comes up I get a red box at the bottom of my screen. I can either delete or view download. I chose view download and right mouse click on the area around the download. A menu pops up and one of the choices is to run anyways. Just select that and it works.

    It says it in CloneBD when you have selected the source (Drive), under phase B "Device" It will say Drive E: Writable Blu-ray disc BD-R <Empty>. Also says what you said in AnydvdHd - "Unknown disc type. (Empty?)" I get these two messages when I insert a blank. Everything still works though and...

    CloneBD speed

    Yea, after reading this thread, I have an older PC ( HP Pavilion p6210y - AMD Athlon II 620 Quad-Core with 8GB memory, and Nvidia Geforce 550 TI (1GB). So maybe that's why the whole copy process takes like 2 hours longer than the movie time (like 4.5 hours).

    CloneBD does not recognize my blanks

    Mine does the same, "Empty". It seems to say "empty" but it doesn't mean anything. I just ignored it and everything worked. Maybe empty means "no data on disc" or something. I use Memorex 25G and they work great!

    Don't know what your point is, but. I was willing to pay the "whatever" price for CloneBD. With the support, updates, and forum answers, plus all the other software I own from slysoft, they are on top of their game and were able to save me with last minute updates that are priceless!

    I am trying to back up "Marvel's, The Avengers". I have a External LG 6X Blu-ray drive and a decent PC. Why is it taking almost 4 hours to do a 2 hour movie? As the thing is converting, the movie is playing very slow. It is almost like you have to watch the whole movie as you are copying it...

    Same for me too I just started using CloneBD. When I clicked on Begin converting, I would get that error. So, I was able to get it working by clicking off the drive target and selecting ISO. Then I went back to the Drive target and I clicked on Begin Converting and it started working.

    Long scan time? 3. Allow Anydvd up to 10 minutes to scan the disc. Is this common to let AnyDVD scan that long? Why does it take that long?
