I performed the "rip video disc to harddisk". It worked without a problem. Then I used that copy (on the hard drive) with CloneDVD2. It worked as it should (no repair defective structure message). also, I tried a few older DVD's. The "repair" message did not occur. Any idea as to why this is...

It works fine with movie only. This "repair defective DVD structure" message has occurred in the past, but very little. I just find it strange that it has happened on the last 4 movies I tried, all being fairly new. I'm going to try an older movie also. I've done "movie only" when necessary...

The last 4 movies I backed up, either full movie or title only and preserve menu is selected, Clone DVD goes into "trying to repair defective DVD structure... please wait" message. After it completes the repair, all seems to work okay. AnyDVD HD 8.3.4.0 - CloneDVD 2.9.3.3 Just wondering if...

Just last month I uploaded a logfile and it saved as .ziplog . I also uploaded a ".ziplog" logfile back in April, 2018. I have performed a search on my computer for ".zip" and ".ziplog" and could only find these 2 instances. Does anyone know exactly where (what default folder/directory) this...

Maybe i'm not being clear. When the AnyDVD error window opened, it said I could open the location where the file was saved and upload it to RedFox. I opened the location and it was not in .zip form, it had saved as AnyDVD.RAR . The .RAR is all I have.

Sorry, but my default (only) compression (zip) program is WinRAR. That is how the .dmp file saved. I wish I could be of more help.

For some reason, yesterday, the error file that saved as a .RAR, wouldn't upload. Today it did. I use this program to zip files. Hopefully you can use this.

Yes, it was generated during the boot. it saved as a .dmp file. sorry, just trying to help with a possible software bug. Thanks anyway. Thread closed.

Sorry, I'm not sure where to post this. I received a boot error this AM when AnyDVD loaded. The message asked me to post the error log dump (attached). AnyDVD was in my tray when I looked but then closed. I restarted it and all looks okay now. I hope this helps for your troubleshooting. Regards.

Venom Issue. Latest version of RedFox AnyDVD 8.3.2.0. Using CloneDVD2. Under the Audio and Subtitle settings, the scan stops at 20%. Tried 2 DVD Burners. Also tried AnyDVd Ripper. DVD Ripper stops at 56% with message - "File0 VTS_1.VOB 392815064 387072". Logfile attached.

Interesting. I was able to get my LG DVD R/W drive to read and "Rip video disc to harddisk" (on the second attempt, it failed on the first try). At that point, I used CloneDVD2 to complete the copy. I was able to use both DVD R/W drives to copy and burn "Insidious: The Last Key" with no issues...

Is anyone having problems with Thor: Ragnarok? Tried backing up at 8.2.3.0, RedFox seems to scan without problems (except it scans for what seems like a longer than normal time). When using CloneDvD2, "Title Configuration" page scans fine. At the "Audio and Subtitle" page, it scans up to 95%...

Version 8.2.0.2 and 8.2.0.3 seem to function the same. They both say "trying to repair defective DVD structure...Please wait". After completing the repair, both versions completed fine. The screen shot posted by Big Jeff was the same as mine.
