They are working on this. It is noted that DVD Fab hd decrypter and dvd next copy can handle this title.
 
DVDShrink Works!!!!!!!

Using Anydvd 6.1.7.0 open DvdShrink, cancel the first check.... it will fail...

Go straight to re-author, select title 1, the 1hr. 33min. one....

Select your settings, english in Compression Settings........

Enjoy.......

This title CAN be done with DVDFAB Decrypter 3.1.7.6 to rip main movie to Hard Drive, then use ClonedVD 2 to burn to blank, works perfect. Hopefully Slysoft is working on this one as we speak! Best I can tell, AnyDVD missed at least 1 bad sector. Try CloneDVD 2 latest version with AnyDVD latest version and you WILL get cyclic redundance error!:mad:

I also got shrink to work with this, but i removed the end credits completely as i found the error to be at the end of the read. Works perfect for movie only and i cant confirm if it works any other way.
 
I keep coming up with a message trying to repair defective DVD structure is any one else having this problem I have updated my Clone and AnyDVD. Is there a fix to this problem.
 
This is a known problem. There will be an update for AnyDVD to fix this. Otherwise, DVDFab 3.1.7.6 can handle it reportedly.
 
How do you set the region to 2?

How/where do you set the region to 2. I tried setting it in AnyDVD, but got the same error when trying to clone "Blades of Glory."

Nothing you set.... it's the REAL Region 2 disks that work OK.

Apparently creating a sticky wasn't enough.

I just got PMed asking when the latest update of Anydvd will be, and if I would please respond "asap".

1. Very few people seem to read the stickies

2. Many that do read my signature respond to it as though I'm asking them questions.

3. Those that PM me never read my signature.

*sigh*


I hear SamuriHL *loves* getting PMs about Blades of Glory R1. PM him instead! :D

I have a variation on this problem

I have read the problems others are having backing up this title. When I tried, a box popped up stating that CloneDVD2 was "Trying to repair defective DVD structure...Please wait!" as others have. The process completed after 15 minutes or so and everything appeared OK. Then as it was creating DVD files (much slower than normal), it stopped at 98% and another box popped up saying there was a "Processing error: F:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_08_5.VOB: read error... Data error (cyclic redundancy check)... If reading the media has failed, please clean the surface and try again." The disc was clean, but I ran it through the cleaner anyway. It would not read, even after repeated attempts.

I just thought I'd post because this seems different than what others are experiencing.

According to my information, Blades of Glory DVD is not released in Australia (PAL) until Thursday 18th October 2007.

Movies usually are. Just look at The Fountain. I have been waiting for this movie eagerly to come out in Australia but according to EzyDVD it won't be out till October 3rd. While this movie was released in the US on May 15th (according to Amazon.com).

It's just something we have to get use to.
