I just got GJ and I'm having the same problem as in this thread. (Sorry, I thought I'd posted in that thread but somehow managed to start a new one)

1. GJ v3.1.2.2

2. OS: Vista SP1 x64

7. What is the version of the game?
1.4.5.1303

8. Is it cd or dvd version?
DVD

9. What region or country is the original disc from?
US

10. What cpu are you running?
Intel Xeon E3110

11. What optical drives (dvd-rom,cd-rom, burners) are you using to create profiles with?
Samsung SH-S203B

12. What security software (firewall, antivirus) are you using?
Eset NOD32 3.0.642.0

13. Describe your problem, provide full error messages, and please state clearly what you were doing when you received those error messages.

I've tried creating profiles using quickstart and image methods. In both cases, the game asks for the original DVD. After canceling, the game application crashes.

For the record, I rolled back to an earlier version of the game (1.4.5.1280) with the same outcome.

Thanks for replying but I think you're confusing this with the other thread on this game. In my first post:
