• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.

You are talking about a licensing issue, not a problem with AnyDVD itself.

You need to ask your question in the Purchase and License Keys forum, or wait for a mod to move this.

Wrong section, moved. License questions do not belong in the DVD issues section which is reserved for DISC related issues only. The license you purchase entitles you to free updates for that period of time (unless it's a lifetime one, then it applies to the lifetime of the product/redfox). The OPD only speeds things up when it comes to DVD's, it is NOT required when it comes to dvd's. Dvd decryption is solely done by anydvd itself. New protections require new anydvd versions, whereas new blu-ray protections simply get added to the OPD.

Old slysoft licenses only work up to 7695 which is around the end of february last year. ANY subsequent new release has a high chance of not working or WILL not work with 7695. The 7695 version can probably be found through the forum search. That's what that functions exists for.

Thanks for the reply! What is an OPD?

So if I buy a one year license, does that mean two things..?;

1) No software upgrades after a year

2) Do I understand your reply below…. That there is also a time limit on how long the software purchase will function?

OPD = Online Protection Database (where, in case of blu-rays, among other things anydvd gets it's playlist information), the OPD as stated only speeds things up for DVD's. It's not required

1) Correct
2) Incorrect The software will continue to work just fine with the last version your license allows you to install. If your license expired and you install a newer version, you will get an "expired license" message and anydvd will stop working. Reverting back to the previous version will fix that.
