I finally got around to hooking up my Vista media PC to my Sony KDS-R70XBR2 television via HDMI, but whenever I switched inputs on the set and then tried to switch back to the PC input all I would get is a blank screen.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable would sometimes work, but if that failed I had to restart my PC to get the display back. After upgrading to the ATI Catalyst Control Center 7.4 driver the problem went away.
