Which bluray drives work for you? I prefer to buy ones of the one available through Newegg or Amazon.

Hands down the best deal right now is the 6x LG GGW-H20LK OEM at Newegg. It's down to $229 at the moment: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136155

This drive will burn 22 GB to Verbatim 4x BD-R media in about 20 min using ImgBurn. I've been very happy with this drive. The OEM version comes with PowerDVD, a SATA cable, and instruction book. The only thing you don't get is the retail box (it comes in a plain cardboard box), so there's no reason to buy the $20 more expensive retail version.

It's also quite speedy burning to DVD-R and DVD+R with it's 16x speed. A good all-in-one solution.

Sony just released an 8x BD burner (BWU300S) but Maximum PC's review stated that this drive is marginally worse than the LG drive in terms of performance. The only way you can get the Sony drive to burn at 8x is by using rare Panasonic 6x rated media which is VERY hard to find. The Sony drive is also over a $100 more expensive at most retailers.
