I’m getting incorrect reporting of Video Standard: as you can see, this disc (an R2 PAL from Italy) is reported as an NTSC disc. When I insert it in my ordinary DVD player, with TV type set at MULTI (and my TV being NTSC only), I get the typical rolling black-and-white of a PAL disc. I get the same Video Standard error in my backup of this disc. Any thoughts/recommendations? I also tried a R2 PAL from Finland --- this disc was correctly reported as PAL. Does it make the slightest difference what Standard reported, by the way? Summary for drive J: (AnyDVD 6.1.3.3) PIONEER DVD-RWDVR-111D 1.29 06/08/10PIONEER Drive (Hardware) Region: 1 Media is a DVD.
