I’m getting incorrect reporting of Video Standard: as you can see, this disc (an R2 PAL from Italy) is reported as an NTSC disc. When I insert it in my ordinary DVD player, with TV type set at MULTI (and my TV being NTSC only), I get the typical rolling black-and-white of a PAL disc. I get the same Video Standard error in my backup of this disc. Any thoughts/recommendations? I also tried a R2 PAL from Finland --- this disc was correctly reported as PAL.
Does it make the slightest difference what Standard reported, by the way?
