I'm trying to make a copy of my Beachbody DVDs. Using CloneDVD Mobile, I used VOB - 1 passthrough and while it does make a really good copy, it's listed as only 00:13 in length. The whole video is there, but the counter just stops. I want to crop this video in a third party program to cut out all the non-workout fluff, but since the other program thinks it's only 13 seconds long, I can't edit it.

How do I get the VOB to get the correct length of time in the file?

Try it a SECOND time as it may be a fluke!

I did a project where I used vob passthrough and imported the resulting file into nero

The file had the same issue as yours and nero could not use it

I simply used CloneDVD Mobile a SECOND time and this time nero could use the file

Apparently CloneDVD Mobile created a bad file the first time.

I've had this happen just a couple of times in the past year or so.

MOST of my CloneDVD Mobile created files are good!

Fixing bad run-time info

I use vob passthru with CDM all the time. Most dvd's report incorrect run times. I use a video editor called VideoReDo to edit commercials out of TV recordings. It has an editing feature called quickstream fix. It generates new time indexes for all the video frames. I have never used Nero, but it or a free alternative might be able to cure your problem.
