If you intall your drive, playing software and it works DO NOT UPDATE ANYTHING. If it works the HD Video you are seeing is the best you'll get and any update can only prevent you from playing or downgrade the picture. If your TV reports a 1080i or p input you are there.
I'm not refering to ANYDVD Updates just your firmware and player software. ALCOHOL 120 is an excellent tool for making your image. Mount with Dameon Tools.
