Trying to save TV Shows from DVD to Harddisk

HI,
New user here. I an tring to take a DVD with Enterprise on it which has 4 episodes on it and create 4 files on my hard disk. I sort of works but when a file gets to 1048574K it starts a new file. So 1 episonde goes over 2 files. Any help would be great!.
