Hello

i need to use SPDIF because of my old receiver. I use TMT5 to play my BR.
I have many BR with DTS sound but i never managed to get DTS to work.

I only get DD if i switch on the DD encoder in Reclock.

If i switch off the encoder i get creapy noises only.

Please what do i need to configure in TMT5 and Reclock to get DTS to work.

Thank you in advance.

I suggest you disable ReClock to use DTS (ReClock cannot do its job if you bitstream), or use the AC3 encoder in ReClock.

Ok. Thank you. Thats what i thought. Now i'm stuck.

I have an ATI 6570 with HDMI 1.4a connected to my Beamer.
The card is not able to produce 23,976Hz or i'm to dumb.
My NVIDIA card is able but if i want to use 3D i need to do some heavy mouse
clicking to enable/disable 3D.
No way to automate.

Now i can choose NVIDIA without Reclock but heavy clicking or ATI with Reclock and reencoding to AC3.

Do you have other sugestions?

It seems an issue with the display. I forced the value 23 in CCC.
The beamer shows 1080p@24 and CCC shows 24 too.

I played a movie and all is fine DTS sound and no stutter. Seems the ATI uses the 23,976Hz.

Checked this with an mkv with XBMC. Display properties in XBMC to sync display to movie and beamer shows 1080p@24 but the info of XBMC shows W:23,97.

So i guess it's an display issue only. I will try this settings and hope the best.

Movies are shot with 24 fps so 24 Hz is the "correct" speed. 23.976 or 25 Hz are just compatibility kludges for NTSC and PAL legacy.

You can script NVidia 3D mode. Check Start -> Programs -> NVidia -> 3d Vision shortcuts as examples.

Or - hardcore method, admin rights required:

net stop "stereo service"
net start "stereo service"
