Question The maximum resolution on Disney is 1280x720

You cannot solve anything. The max resolution on D+ is 720p. If they are able to introduce 1080p one day, then you will notice it in the changelog.

It never was.
Amz and NF are 1080p, for example. But it can depend, it a movie isn't even available in 720p, then can get 480p on those services. And if they change their protocol, then AS can be limited to SD for a certain amount of time (until the devs fixed it).
