I assume you are experiencing read errors? See here and here. Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. With Anydvd running in the background, select the tab labelled "scandisc". Select the appropriate drive letter, and click "start". If Nero cd-dvd speed reports read errors, your disc is (probably) bad and needs to be exchanged--even if it plays fine (or your optical drive could be slowly dying).

To your log file:

do you think that all of this issues are the cause on several different computers ? as well as discs ?

You've not actually said what the issue is.

Well I kind of meant some of the things you placed in your previous post , it seems as though those would be / are issues i would / do have . so I was curious to know if that would be the same on all computers I tried . ( minus the filter )

and yes I am receiving read errors . in vts 02 1

Also , following the steps you provided in getting rid of that filter does not seem to work .

Remove the filter(s):

1. Create a backup of your registry. Refer here for how to do so.
2. Download ImgBurn (freeware).
3. Start ImgBurn and go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order...
4. Select "PxHlpa64". Click Remove Selected Filter. Click OK.
5. Reboot.

After doing these steps , the filter is still there .

This was the important part, especially:

A CloneDVD logfile would be helpful, but I believe it is a bad disc - or batch of bad discs.

Mike, IMHO using "Nero cd-dvd speed" is just a waste of time. It proves nothing, except that there is a read error. Well, we knew that already.

I have uploaded the clone log

Do I post the nero speed logs after it is done , for verification of bad / not bad disc or ?

It's not needed. The assumption is bad disk (or batch of disks) or bad drive(s).

Just a question

Care to tell us WHERE you got this disk?

Video DVD (or CD) label: THE_KIDS_ARE_AL......... (partial vol label)
Media is not CSS protected. <<<< ?????
Media is region free. <<<<< ???
Video Standard: NTSC

AI scan forced, heuristic scan detected no protection! <<<<< ??

At the risk of getting yet another stick on the head, IMO it is EXTREMELY unusual for a studio to release a retail DVD with NO PROTECTIONS at all.

And under these circumstances ( a "flat" DVD) it would not surprise me that Nero Speed would show some errors.

As we say in NY: fogeddaboudit.

Yeah Frank! You're right, it's a booty.

You are right. And it is a single layer, too.

Just like that other one you had a couple weeks ago - it's a boot.
It was made by the same method as your other boot - truncated volume label and all.

Your reliable source - is niether. :D

Edit: I should have read the whole thread 1st.
When I saw Mikes boilerplate reply - as opposed to a quick "booty call" - I posted.

Looks like it's time to give your DVD supplier the heave ho and find a more reliable source that isn't selling you bootlegs, MRB.

Same place I have been getting them from = \
I do notice it shortens the name , no idea why .
 every single one I have ever posted I have gotten all from the same place .

Is that the guy down the pub? A fiver each or 3 for a tenner?

Is that the guy down the pub? A fiver each or 3 for a tenner?

uhm no , if you consider best buy / costco / amazon / walmart etc as a " fiver " 3 for a tenner " as " that guy down by the pub " then yes .
I get them from a source similar to the ones above , i my self believe and feel these are reliable sources . and if they are not then where is one to go or who is one to trust if they are not .
