AnyDVD correctly completed the 'copy to disk' in a few minutes (vs normal 35min or so.
VIDEO_TS file has video length 0.00.00

I believe your disc and / or drive is dirty and / or defective. Cleaning might help, your logfile is "almost good". Or use CloneDVD to copy, if might be more forgiving.
