I recently found out that my notebook DVD drive is a disesteemed Matshita drive, which, in fact, does have issues with ripping some DVDs (e.g. the infamous Batman movie "The Dark Knight") that could be ripped on my external DVD drive. As my wife gets more and more Blu-ray discs, I tinker with the idea of replacing my internal notebook drive with a drive that should be able to read and burn DVDs and which should read (and probably, but not necessarily burn) Blu-rays. Are there any suggestions for an internal slim BD drive? Or which ones to forgo?

AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
