Suggestion - prohibit VCD to not re-load the same image that's already loaded

I use the command line options to control VCD. If an image is loaded and the command line tells VCD to insert the same image again, VCD removes and loads the same image. It could save me a lot of time, if there was a parameter to tell VCD to re-insert the same image or just leave it, quasi just get sure it is already loaded.
