    Hello guys!

    These two discs:

Superman 1978 (SUPERMAN THE MOVIE -- OPD: BD_dbc5d95c66ef)
    2001 - A space odyssey (2001_ A Space Odyssey -- OPD: BD_2b5628b5aefd)

are decrypting correctly - but in the status window, there is (in both cases) this part which seems strange to me:

Summary for drive I: (AnyDVD HD, BDPHash.bin 19-09-17)
    ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.01
    Drive (Hardware) Region: 2
    Current profile: BD-ROM
    Media is a Blu-ray disc.
Total size: 42090752 sectors (82208 MBytes)
    Video Blu-ray label: 2001_ A Space Odyssey
    Media is AACS protected!
    AACS MKB version 65
    Drive supports bus encryption!
    Disc wants bus encryption!
    UHD Blu-ray disc.
    Error retrieving VolumeID!
    Removed AACS copy protection!
    Blu-ray disc is region free!
    Removed annoying trailers!
    Removed annoying video sequences!
    Removed UOPs!
    Bad sector protection not found.

Does this have any kind of significance?

    Log files attached...

Yes, the volume ID is needed as it's used in the disc identification / decryption?? process. Try using a microfiber cloth or something to clean it, or a different drive. But no volume ID = no decrypting (at least not for original discs)

Only drive with letter I (internal?) seems to have this problem. Make sure to use the Microsoft drivers. The USB drive (letter H) seems to work fine.

    @ James:

What kind of "Microsoft drivers" do you mean - those for ODDs? And where can I find them?

No, those for your SATA controller. Unless you don't use them already, I'm not sure.

    @ James:

When I am trying to rip an unsupported disc (no matter what kind), the status window displays:

"Drive ... is not ready!" (in any language)

In my opinion, this implies that the corresponding drive could be defective...

This message I consider puzzling and misunderstandable, therefore in my opinion it is better (and more logical) displaying:

"This disc is not supported yet!" (in any language)

Do you consider this an adaptable feature for AnyDVD?

Well, you should have received such a message as a dialog box already.

Yes, up to now it displays "Drive is not ready!" - but (in case of an unsupported disc) I think it would be more sensible to say "This disc is not supported yet!"...
