I'm using AnyDVD-HD 7.190 on an HP Micro Server, WHS 2011 reading BluRays with Samsung SE-506BB USB 2.0 drive (reader/burner). It's advertised as 6x speed.

Ripping a BD to hard drive takes longer than the movie would take to play in real-time. I get about 5Mb/sec read speed and a 90-minute BD movie takes about 2 hours to rip. The CPU is running at 15%-20%.

Is this normal? Anything obvious to check regarding performance?

Thanks in advance for any info....

I'd cross-check how long it takes to create an ISO image with ImgBurn while AnyDVD is disabled.
