Clone dvd gives me the error after a while that the disc is badly mastered.
I attached the log file.

(It works with dvdfab btw, so i don't think it is the dvds fault. ;) )

Summary for drive F: (AnyDVD 6.6.6.0)
ATAPI DVD ADH16A6S YA17 2008/12/17 12:19
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

You didnt set your drive hardware region. AnyDVD can have trouble decrypting CSS discs without the drive region set properly.

Warning bad filter found. The following filter has been known to cause problems with AnyDVD. Use IMGBurn and load the filterlist to remove it.

I attached the log file.

In this case the CloneDVD log file (containing this error) would be interesting.

I don't care what DVDFab does or doesn't do. And it really doesn't mean much. ;)

Does AnyDVD ripper work? And do yourself a favor, set the region code of your drive.

@Clams:
Cd- Freaks. Digital Digest maybe?

@James: I try the ripper. Anydvd keeps telling me that i have to set the region although I set it.

I guess you didn't do it right.

The version of AnyDVD you are using ( 6.6.6.0 ) is up to date. If you are a registered user, I strongly recommend that you update to the latest beta version 6.6.6.1

Code:
ATAPI DVD ADH16A6S YA17 2008/12/17 12:19
Please ensure you are using the latest firmware for your optical drive. See here.

Rip speeds on DVD and Blu-Ray might be improved by MediaCodeSpeedEdit. Please see RIPLOCK.
If installed (often from Duplex Secure, Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% ), uninstall SPTD, which is the culprit for slow rips.
See here and here.

Code:
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)
Your region code is not set.

With some DVDs and some drives, AnyDVD cannot decrypt CSS unless your drive's region code is set properly.
You must exit AnyDVD when checking.
  1. Right click the fox on your toolbar. Exit AnyDVD.
  2. Click start. Right click on My computer--->select properties.
  3. Click on the Hardware tab--->click the device manager button.
  4. Open the DVD/DROM branch---> right click on your optical drive.
  5. Click properties.
  6. You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
  7. Select the region that you're in
  8. Start AnyDVD.
SysInfo

Problematic Filter NTIDrvr Typically NTI's Filecd, which is packet writing software installs that filter:
Code:
CDROM Class UpperFilters:
NTIDrvr (system32\Drivers\NTIDrvr.sys), Version: 1.0.0.8 (1.0.0.8)
Company: NewTech Infosystems, Inc.
Copyright: Copyright (C) 2002 NewTech Infosystems, Inc.
Description: NTI CD-ROM Filter Driver
FileVersion: 1, 0, 0, 8
ProductVersion: 1, 0, 0, 8
Refer here for an list of known problematic filters. Further filter information here

Remove the filter(s):

  1. Create a backup of your registry. Refer here for how to do so.
  2. Download ImgBurn (freeware).
  3. Start ImgBurn and go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order...
  4. Select "NTIDrvr". Click Remove Selected Filter. Click OK.
  5. Reboot.

Whatever programs installed the filter may no longer work properly.
Reinstall the piece of software that originally installed the filter to get things working again if necessary.
It is not recommended that you do so, however, because the problem will likely happen again at a later time

After carrying out the above recommendations, please create and post a new set of log files.

I set the region like that but it is still the same.

Can't attache the clone log, because it is to big to attache here.
I will try anydvd ripper later.

Remember to EXIT AnyDVD entirely before setting region on drive.

Looks like AnyDVD isn't decrypting correctly. Please post an AnyDVD logfile. Thank you.

EDIT:
And maybe you want to update CloneDVD2, too.

Version 2.9.2.2 is very outdated. Please upgrade to the newest version of AnyDVD & CloneDVD and post a log from both programs. See here for how.

The programs offer an automatic update check. You should consider enabling it.

Well, well. Somehow i must have overlooked the new clone version too. It works now.

I am sorry. I feel like a real noob now.

@ Clams: Do you remember me now? I have seen your name somewhere else too. :p
