Out of curiosity, What is the "average" time to "Rip to Image..." for regular DVDs and Blu-ray movies? So I know in the future.

PS: Would these "average" time(s) be the same for "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk..." feature as well?

I rip DVDs on a LG GH22NS40 with MCSE modified firmare and it takes 4-10 mins (average 6 mins) for a rip.

I rip Blu-Rays on a LG BH10LS30 with MCSE modified firmare and it takes 30-50 mins (average 35 mins) for a rip.

I own the LG BH08LS20.

DVD rips take about 20-30 mins.

Blu-ray rips take about 60-70 mins.

I never upgraded the "firmware".

Would upgrading the "firmware" speed things up?

I forgot to add, I don't have Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% installed.
