Ripper quality same as AnyDVD w/Nero Recode?

I've read that for some titles I should use the Ripper functionality (right click on the fox).

Will the image I create be less quality with the ripper?

All the ripper does is transfer the files from the DVD to the HDD. How could the quality change?

No, using the ripper will not alter the quality.
