[Resolved] [installs rootkit] Black Lagoon Vol 2 & 3 (Region 1)

certainly

here they are

these are with the AI Scanner Always Enabled

Thank you.

This is something James will need to look into, I guess. I can't see a valid cause for your problem other than possibly a bad disc but given that James believes it may be a protection issue then it very well might be.

Don't forget to go back to the default settings. Just click on the Default button.

it turns out that Disc 2 has RipGuard on it and it still is not ripping

Same error message? Different error message? Does disc 3 work now?
From what I can tell from the logs, it should work fine now.

Don't bother. Doing so won't fix this issue.

Well, *if* this disc has installed a root kit, it may. But I don't know until I have the physical discs (which were temporary sold out).

Yes, me, myself & I.

thanks for the response
im was just wondering what is going on with my issue

I checked 6.5.5.7 beta, and the discs copy fine.
However, be aware that these discs *do* contain a rootkit!
If you don't have AnyDVD running all the time (as I try to convince people to do), it might be installed on your machine.

Damn they're putting rootkits on DVD's now? Since when?

BTW after a quick google it seems this one also has a rootkit.
