Confirmed, 100% reproduceable. Works fine with the other 2 values ( , and ' ). Since the other 2 values work, i'd have to guess it setting it to a period causes some kind of software algorithmic problem. Maybe it's tied into the search function input field (NF/Hulu/HBO/D+) or the Amazon browser. Since keyboard input is possible there.
