Whenever I mount an ISO and eject it and I go to delete the file, it says that I cannot delete it since it is in use. I really hate this, it happens every time I go to delete the file.

What you experience happens to me occasionally as well, with more than just unmounted disc images. If I try to delete a file right after Windows has unlocked an open file I get the "in use" message. Wait a couple of seconds and Windows (7 in my case) allows the file to be deleted.

Another Windows "quirk".

in vcd prefs, select "eject unmounts file".
