When I insert an original DVD it processes all of the data onto my computer but the blank DVD can't be read when inserted.

    1. Use Anydvd 6.3.1.5: click http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe

You may need to reboot after installing if prompted to do so.

    2. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".

    3. If you use something other than Clonedvd, right click the red fox icon on your toolbar-->select "rip video-dvd to haddisk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. You can then import that rip into whatever program you want.

    4. Use the latest Clonedvd: click
    http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneDVD.exe

    5. Follow the steps from this link in order: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 (follow them step by step)

    6. If you still have problems, then . . .

    A. Upload the .zip to the fourms:

    a) Ensure Anydvd is running.
    b) Put the problematic original disc in your optical drive/reader. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
    c) Right click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
    d) Select "Create Logfile"
    e) Wait for Anydvd to create a log file.
    f) A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile and the logfile's name. Click "ok".
    g) Go to your My Documents folder
    h) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip" (or something similar; see step f)
    i) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like [IMG]
    j) If you don't see that paperclip icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
    k) A small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
    l) Click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
    m) click "upload"

    B) State the full a)error message(s) you encountered (click "details"), b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s). What problem are you having exactly?

    C) click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=5091 to see if your question has already been answered

    D) What blank media are you using? Specify a) brand name b)type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, etc.) c)media code, d) capacity/size, e) batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and f)country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).

If you don't know how to obtain media codes, you may find the following programs useful:

    http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com and http://www.dvdinfopro.com/

    E) At what speed are you burning your blank media?

    Problem Burning DVD

I have all of the updated files for clonedvd and anydvd and I am still having problems with my dvd writer recognizing the blank dvd when inserted. When I put in the blank DVD a screen pops up and gives me the option to eject or cancel.:bang: I have no idea what to do. Is it my computer?...or is it the clonedvd software?

Do not create multiple threads about the exact same thing please: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=87585&postcount=4 and read fully

Follow the steps I listed in order (especially everything from #5).

If you then have problems, provide the information I requested previously (everything from #6).

Do you have an original, commercial, dvd-video disc in your drive?

Do you have a .zip file in your My Documents folder?

Yes, I have a commercial DVD+R disc in my drive. No, I do not have a .zip file in my My Documents Folder

That's not the original movie (dvd-video). Put the original movie in your drive--not the blank disc.

I am using a Memorex 4.7 GB +R blank disc

    1. Memorex is pretty junky. Use Taiyo Yuden (not valueline) or Verbatim.
http://www.supermediastore.com/ is one source for Taiyo Yuden if you're in the U.S.

    2. Your TSSTCORP CDRW/DVD TSL462D can't burn blank dvds. Get a burner that does (not Matshita).

    3.
You do have some packet writing software, Sonic Solutions' Drive Letter Access, on your system, which can cause conflicts with Clonedvd and other programs. If you need to drag and drop files to burn (as you would to a floppy disc), then use dvd-ram instead (and I suggest using a FAT file system with dvd-ram), which is more stable.

    i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "DRVMCDB". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "DLACDBHM". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
    iv) Reboot

Keep in mind the program(s) that installed those filters will no longer work properly.
