Problem Ripping UNFORGIVEN HDDVD

I have had success with GOODFELLOWS HD DVD, but when I tried to rip UNFORGIVEN, I get the following quality of video in the first 3 minutes (pics 1 -3), and then another corruption at 7 minutes (pic 4). There may of may not be more errors further in the movie.

Anyone know what the cause is? The movie appears to rip fine (no errors), and of course plays fine in a stand alone player.

I'm using AnyDVD HD 6.3.0.3

This is a conflict between the vc-1 encode of the disc and WMV Video Decoder DMO

Its not anydvd related as you get the same output using DVDFabHD

If you search on a few other forums you will likely find this has been raised a fair bit

There are a few other VC-1 encoded hd-dvds around that have the same problem

You can get round it by using the Sonic filters I think

Decoding VC-1 through ffdshow fixes the problem (I have build 1576).
