That's not very informative. What happens?

You also have vmplayer running in the background at the same time as well, which can possibly lock out access to the drive.

a)If you have HDCP compliance, does the original disc exhibit playback issues with Anydvd disabled? If the original disc doesn't play fine with Anydvd disabled, then your problem has nothing to do with Anydvd.

b) Does the original disc play fine with Anydvd enabled?

It's working with PDVD2021

I went back to an old version and it started working. It's not anyDVD fault, because with the latest version, i couldn't play from the drive with AnyDVD disabled. So i am with PDVD 2021U on Win7

Here u go with the log file.

You could also try manually setting the region code.

Here's a silly question, are you mounting the iso image with a program like "Virtual CloneDrive" before you try to open the movie with PowerDVD?

If not you need to mount first, then open.

I am with VCD 2523 Beta.

I always do Protected ISOs using AnyDVD.

I have no problems 2021U until i upgraded to PDVD 2521. It's not anydvd fault, because PDVD won't even play from the drive with anydvd disabled.

So i went back to an old version, i am good for now on Win 7 with PDVD 2021 and VCD latest beta

If Powerdvd won't play the original disc, then it's a Powerdvd bug. You can try contacting Cyberlink (but their technical support is supposed to be pretty bad).
