PLEXTOR 740A CloneCD 5.3.0.1 doesn't support ?

Well... WHY ? i tried burning backup image and it only told me that it didn't support my dvd drive after starting burning reached 9% and stayed that way for an hour or so until i shut it down mannualy... I really got angry... ImgBurn made it to 27% and crashed the whole PC... is it that my DVD writer is worth **** or i dunno, pls help hadn't had a single problem for three years, until tried burning DUAL LAYER image through a *.dvd that had preset layer break point...

1. What are you burning? A game? A movie? What's the name of it? What country is it from? Where did you get this file from?

2. What blank media are you using? Specify a) brand name b)type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, etc.) c)media code, d) capacity/size, e) batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and f)country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).

3. Why are you using an old version of Clonecd?

When I google ptc-me.dvd all I see is a bunch of cracker and torrent sites.
