Output resolution and quality

It would be very handy to be able to specify the actual quality of the output file. I know the slider bar is convenient but for older devices other than tablets and smart phones, finding the correct slider position is hit and miss. For example, I have an Archos 605 WiFi and I have not been able to find a quality setting that works, the video play back is jittery. Conversion of video for my smartphone, however, works a treat.

Also, my Archos is capable of a resolution of 720x576, is CloneBD always going to be restricted to 16:9 or will it be able to convert video to different ratios/resolutions?
