DVDFab DRM Video Downloader, you can download any video from Amazon, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and HBO.

Batch download episodes and auto-download new releases

    Bit premature, maybe ?

“Note: Only Netflix and Disney+ are supported for now, and the others are coming soon...”

3 downloads but you shouldn't need 50 downloads to make your decision. The major thing I noticed is, no option to download faster and requires to watch while it downloads. I guess that's where batch downloads come in hand. I still prefer AnyStream but this other might be of use for D+

Post moved, it's a bad idea to actively promote competition products in a redfox product specific forum section. Please don't do it again.

So it is just one of the "video grab" programs, like the other popular one (forgot the name)?

Playon, yea. That's what it looks like though they claim higher resolutions. But a screen grab is still a screen grab.

I don't think it's a screen grab. You can resize the window and even speed up the playback with out messing with the end file. I did notice the bit rate is higher with the "other guys". Here the media info for the same file downloaded from both apps:

I'm too big a noob to be able to tell which file is "better"

And your comparison is invalid. There's 'encoding' differences. The 'competitor'for example only uses 1 reference frame while AnyStream uses 4

They are not the only competitors with batch. Like the other one they do a RAW grab of the uncompressed video packets and recompress on-the-fly. You are getting re-encoded video, not lossless. That is not acceptable for me. I can tell you I have downloaded the encrypted files and compared the size & meta data and AS is 1:1 whereas these other guys are not.

    It's definetaly recording not downloading.
    Very easy to spot.
Also looks like a "rush job" to get the Christmas sales.

It's the same episode from both apps so the comparison is valid. The reason I posted it is because I don't know how to read the results :D

How else could you compare the out put from both apps?

How is it easy to spot? Do you mind explaining what red flags you see? I would like to know for future reference.

Basically you can check it in the task manager and see what takes up resources and which resources remain the same when the process or program is closed.

    Example:

    Open the Windows task manager.
    Look for the task,
    upload_2020-12-19_9-20-10.png

Looks not very suspicious at the first look but if you look closer you will see a spike in GPU utilization.
(Please note that this is a multi GPU system and the process / program assigned one of the GPU's for decoding and another for encoding)

    upload_2020-12-19_9-21-59.png

This is definitively an encode and not an download, you can see this as it has the same process name and if you close the Monkey tool the process disappears in the task manager.
    upload_2020-12-19_9-24-42.png

I was surprised that they use GPU encoding and not CPU encoding.
(Please note that if you have one GPU it might be easier to spot the process compared to a multi GPU system)

This is clearly a screen grabber
And a rip off price to boot
If you want a good quality and reasonably priced screen grabber try audials not this
