Newbie - problem/question

I'm new to burning DVD's and I got a read error on Toy Story - trying to make a back up copy since my son watches it SO much. Don't want to be without a copy! LOL

I did read the sticky post, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Can someone please explain this in laymans terms?

I hope I've managed to answer the important questions since I really have NO CLUE what any of this means!

Oh someone told me that my PHILIPS DVD+-RW DVD8801 is a Benq 1650 - whatever that means.

Concerning you Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check) CRC Error ->

Most likely your Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check) CRC Error is caused by the orginal Toy Story Comerical DVD Movie you are attempting to copy is dirty or scratched or contains a manufacture flaw.

The blank DVD Media CMC MAGAE1 (usually Memorex) you are using is noted to be absolutely garbage blank DVD Media. Informed knowledgeable individuals avoid using Memorex CMC Magnetic Taiwan Media because of well-documented history of poor problematic performance. Suggest for consistent quality error free results use known proven blank DVD Media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim Media.
