Using registered GJ 2.9.18.610 on a single PC with 3 user accounts (Me - admin, Wife - user, Kids - user). How do I configure GJ and/or account settings such that:

1. I can run all game profiles.
2. Wife can run all (not that she would).
3. Kids can only run the few they're allowed.

As it stands now, GJ launches in their accounts but no captured profiles show up in the "My Game Profiles" section of the interface. I've tried the setting to save profiles in My Documents both ways. I assume this would need to be off unless I am required to recapture profiles for each account? Hope not (26 working profiles). Any of these solutions would be ok:

1. Everybody sees all profiles, but only the Kids' are not password protected.
or
2. Wife & I see all profiles; Kids only see the ones they're allowed to run.
or
3. A better idea from the group?

Thanks for any help.

First of all I'm assuming that you are running Vista. That being the case, I recommend that you set Game Jackal (GJ) to run under admin privileges under the user accounts.

No, sorry, I should have mentioned I'm running XP Pro.

My first thought is that running games under a non admin account with XP is problematic. There are many issues with doing this (outside of the issues seen with GJ). I can tell you that GJ is designed to running under a non admin account, however this is not recommended when running XP.

The first thing to do is make sure you install GJ under the non admin account (simply install over the existing install) as the installer creates permissions for that specific user.
