Anybody else having probelms with this title? Mine gets to 51% and quits. I'm using the 6.7.8.0. Please help.
 
My back up gets to 51%.

File 1 H:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_04_1.VOB 30 TCSectorReader

I just keep getting a read error, but the DVD is brand new, nothing wrong with it. There is nothing on it to clean and try again. I tried to do a log file, but I didn't get the option. Just a processing error.
 
You do a logfile using AnyDVD BEFORE you try to make a backup. Read the stickies.
Also know that this title (in R1) has no special protections - I've done this one myself.

1. Create log zip and attach it

2. looks deceive and even playing it will never mean you can read it.
 
Mine copied perfectly...AnyDVD and CloneDVD...the latest versions :)

i'm having the same problem clone dvd gets to 51% then won't read disc.i don't know how to create a log zip or any of this other stuff.whens the next update?

I'm having the same problem using AnyDVD 6.7.8.0 and Shrink

I'm new to the forum I have the AnyDVD_Log.Txt file. This is the first time I could not copy something with the Rip Video DVD to Harddisk. Can you help.
 
A. Post an Anydvd .zip log file

a) Ensure Anydvd is running.
b) Put the problematic original movie dvd in your burner. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
c) Right click the red fox icon on your system tray.
d) Select "Create Logfile"
e) Wait for Anydvd to create a log file.
f) A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile and the logfile's name. Click "ok".
g) Windows Explorer will open, and you will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip" (or something similar; see step f)
h) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like (in other words, look for the paperclip after clicking "quote" or when creating a new thread)
i) If you don't see that paperclip icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
j) A small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
k) Click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
l) click "upload"
m) Close the window. When you submit reply, or submit a new thread, the .zip file will be attached automatically for us to take a look at
 
I read the instructions

I have been using AnyDVD for over 5 years, used Afterdawn since they first started. I use the best DVD's I can afford. Afterdawn won't address the issue anymore. I verified the DVD Plays all the way thru, and its new. AnyDVD is scanning the disk for a very long time. I does finally show its complete. I have the file you want I added it on the additional Options but I guess you didn't get it. I'm trying it again. I want to verify I use Shrink it didn't even complete the scan. I used the AnyDVD Rip Video DVD to Harddisk it did not even get to 10%. this is a first. Thanks for the Help.

The disc is defective/dirty. There are a lot more read errors than this. Time to exchange it.

I'm going to get another copy but this disk is perfect. I also played it on both machines in my house. Can it be there is another barrier installed.

Never confuse looks and playing with Windows being able to READ the thing.
Not at all the same. READ errors are NOT protection errors and this would not be the first DVD that was simply cheaply produced.
