Hello everyone, I am new here at the fourms but have benn using anydvd for a few years, just upgraded to anydvdhd.
I have been tring to get a iso file to play in powerdvd, I belive the proublem i am haveing is when i mount it into a virtual drive, I have tryed virtual clone drive 5411,daemontools,and power iso 4.3, the iso seems to mount but when i try to play with powerdvd it says their is no disc in drive, and when i do a explore on the virtual drive i recive the unsupported or currupted file error.
I did install UDF 2.5,I think, when i right clicked on it and chose to install the dialog box then disapeared but i did not recive a comfirmation or any other window.
I am thinking the proublem is with the UDF reader, I am running XP X64 does anyone now if UDF 2.5 reader is supported with 64bit XP?
I can play back my backup disc which I made from my originall disc useing anydvdhd.
I have tryed ISO with we were soilders and shooter.

No it isn't. (If you are talking about the Toshiba driver)
I don't know of an UDF 2.5 reader for XP64. Maybe the one from Total Media Extreme will work, but I doubt it.

pls post results if you find a solution as i'm interested as well

Hi,

From my thread a week or so back.

http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=24583&highlight=xp64

I have a problem with loading the iso through Virtual Clone Drive in xp64, but it works with Daemon Tools.

There are 64 bit drivers available, and I know they work.

http://de.wikibooks.org/wiki/DVD-RAM/_Weblinks

The actual download link from this page is

http://www.4shared.com/file/34040650/a7408fb2/MEIUDF-5301_XP-X64_EN.html

Password: DVD-RAM-Wikibook

You don't actually need these drivers though if the ISO's mounting properly. I just can't do it in VCD, and trolling through the xp64 experiences with VCD, I'm not on my own...

sometimes posted information gets overlooked. I made a similar post after finding a driver and testing it. I didn't post the direct links because I thought posting filesharing site links was a no-no.

"Using the clues provided by the OP I was able to track down a 64-bit udf driver. The link to the driver as well as the password can be found on http://de.wikibooks.org/wiki/DVD-RAM/_Weblinks about half way down the page. I downloaded the 32bit xp driver and it worked, so I am expecting it should work on XP64. The page is in german but the links and password are obvious, just look for the windows xp 64 bit driver version 5.3.0.1

Good luck.

Edit: after some additional google-ing (googling?) I found the driver on this page http://panasonic.net/pcc/products/in...574drv_xp.html
It has a different file name than the one found on the wikibooks page. I haven't tried this one."

I have been useing VCD on XP 32 bit which works great with powerdvd and dvdlobby, I went ahead and restored back to XP 64bit and tried the panisonic udf driver from above, I found it does work with useing daemon tools to be able to mount a Blu-Ray image, But powerdvd does not reconize the file when mounted useing the panisonic driver.
I have also tried a driver by roxio with no luck either.
Back to 32 for now.

Yes. You shouldn't need the UDF driver anyway. I believe it should just work straight with AnyDVD HD. It's been noted on a few other threads that VCD is not working properly when mounting Bluray iso's in xp 64-bit. Much to my horror, I'm using Daemon Tools to do it at the moment...

I have just tried magicdisc and it works with XP 64bit , I can playback blu-ray iso with powerdvd from harddrive , just does not seem to want to work with DvdLobby , I can click the thumbnail of the movie in dvdlobby and it will playback the blu ray iso under xp 32 but not under xp 64 I use the cmd.. (Macro|SetVariable|media_{{clientname}}_transport_source~PowerDVD!MLDVDLobby|MakeSource~{{media_{{clientname}}_transport_source}}!AV.PDVD{{media_{{clientname}}_activeplayer}}|PlayMovie~<<file>>!)
getting close I guess I will have to check the cinemar fourms and see what I can find.
Thanks for all the help everyone, Looking foward to a clone blu-ray.
