What are the best settings for a Kindle Fire HD 8.9? I want to know what to set the resolution to bit rate etc..
 
Don't be fooled

The "resolution game" will lead to disappointment. These newer devices offer super-size-me screens and resolution numbers but the usual 16:9 DVD cannot come close to delivering zhis which is why we do not keep cranking up the numbers.

Take the normal "Amazon Kindle Fire" option and play with the slider for the best result. We will not be artificially meeting those super-duper resolutions offered for other source material, not DVDs.
