ismykey's problem discs

I have the same issues as described here and have the latested release version 6.8.9.0. (also tried 6.8.8.10 beta) Tried Advanced AI. The preview screen (title configuration) in clonedvd2 is black for 3 dvds. Hangover 2, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Margin Call. Rise Runs very very slow.

On Rise. One vob file rips quickly. then it hits Vts_1_1.vob and the processing VERY SLOW and eventually says something like 1018 hours remaining.

All DVDs plays on PC.


Log files are attached.

Note I noticed there are lot more files in the filesystem view of video_ts then in your logfile.

EDIT: DVDs play using VLC Media player and Roxio CinePlayer on PC but not windows media player or real video. (I waited a few minute to start)

Are these DVDs copies?, as all your logfiles show:

Media is not CSS protected
Media is region free

What happens if you disable AnyDVD?

Also, your HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GP08LU10 KE01 needs it's region code setting.

Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

They are not copies. I had checked regions before posting but apparently on the wrong drive or while a disk was in. After setting Region one 1 noticed messages of protection being removed. .. attached.

Disabling Anydvd i can get by the title configuation screen but it dies after converting one VOB file. Usually I cannot get past the Title configuration screen if Anydvd is not running. (i tried my super8 dvd. without anydvd running just now) This seems to be the same for all three. No error on Title configuration but it either dies or is very slow on "creating ISO" screen.

Updated to latest clonedvd2 ( i was 2.9.2.something)

Sorry but those look like Asian made boots.
The DISK itself is region free and has no CSS protection.
The real disks are not like this - trust me on this.

Agreed. These aren't legitimate retail disc as created by the studios.

ismykey, get your money back if you paid for these.
