Installed Upgrade won't reconize CD/DVD drives

HI All
I'm still running Any DVD 6.1.9.3, when I install the last two upgrades (6.2.0.1 and 6.3.0.0) the computer will not recognize the CD and the DVD drives anymore. I have to use system restore which when complete work's fine again. I have tried several different solutions, but to no avail.

Drive 1 - HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B 0019
Drive 2 - BENQ DVD DD DW1620B7W9
