Incredibles 2 Audio cutting out (UK blu-ray)

Hi Guys.

I am trying to play The Incredibles 2, but am finding that that audio cuts out every so often, I then have to switch Audio Tracks to correct it.

The video plays smoothly while doing this.

This can happen every 2 minutes, to 5 seconds after i've corrected the issue.

Anyone else had this or know the fix?

Seems to work fine on my actual bluray player.

I am using VLC to play it.

Not an anydvd issue. Moved to third party. AnyDVD doesn't play discs.

Your problem is most likely VLC, it's an excellent video file player, but blu-ray is a whole different ballgame. It most likely has trouble decoding the HD audio track, which isn't uncommon. The solution to that is to use a licensed blu-ray player such as PowerDVD, or convert the movie into something like an mkv or MP4 with a tool like CloneBD (and set the audio to AC3 or something).
