Hallo Gemeinde,

Was kann man da machen?

Vielen Dank im Voraus, lieben Gruß,

Anderl

ImgBurn questions do not belong in the CloneBD Section. Post moved.

That said, ImgBurn always finalises discs. It cannot do multi-session discs. If you have further issues your best option would be to use the dedicated ImgBurn forums at http://forum.imgburn.com

Wrong. My bd-re's get finalised just fine. Blu-ray discs MUST be finalized afaik for a standalone (or software) player to even be able to play them. The fact that it's a bd-re he's using is irrelevant. I'd be happy to pull up my ImgBurn log for you where it shows it's finalising the bd-re.

Yet another wrong guess of yours.
BD-RE can't be finalized - the same applies to DVD+RW. Maybe a session can be closed, but not the whole disc.
Ask in the ImgBurn forums if you don't believe me...

... and btw. sorry dir writing english in the german forum :rolleyes:

@Tourist No need to be sorry, i only did it because i don't speak german. I'm also not one to admit it when i'm wrong :) Your post made me pull up the log and it only shows "writing track" then jumps to synchronising cache. I'll have to look at the imgburn message at the bottom next time i'm burning a bd-re. But it would seem that you're right, i had a quick google and found this old post by LightningUK himself

@Andreas Gärtner Check this post i found on the imgburn forums themselves http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/15366-bd-re-disc-finalized/?p=120703

Short and sweet, they CANT be finalised (same as DVD+RW). This topic on a different forum explains a bit more in detail. http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/do-blu-ray-rewritables-need-to-be-finalized.728971/#post-4900210

Z.B. Nero bietet sowas an. Ob auch bei DVD+RW? K.A. (Checkbox ggf. ausgegraut)

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finalisieren
{...}
{...}

Thanks! However, the BD-RE plays just fine, hence I suppose the track was closed at least but since the player can handle it I don't care :)
