iHOS 104 BD-ROM Region Code Trouble

Hello there!

I have a iHOS 104 BD-ROM Drive for my HTPC. My Son tried to Play some BD´s of his friends and set the Region Code Selection for 5 Times...

Now I am unable to Play Region Code "B" BD´s cause the Drive only accept Region "A". PowerDVD 12 won´t work anymore.

Is there an Program available that resets the "Region Code Change Counter"?

A Firmwareupdate did not solve this Problem.

Sorry for my worse english but I hope to find some help, cause I don´t wanna buy a new one...

If this doesn't work, then a full OS install will:

The BD region code is not stored on the drive, but on the OS.

You shouldn't need to play with the region code if you use AnyDVD correctly.
