So far Hulu seems to only allow downloading up to 720p.

I think AS has only ever been able to download 720p from Hulu.

FYI:
APV and NF both have 1080 content through AS
D+ has 720 through AS
I can't speak for the others, but thanks to this post I see that hulu serves up 720 through AS.
I hope HBOMax has 1080 content...?
