How do you playback BD ISO files in PowerDVD 8?

Yeah. No luck with beta VCD either. For those who are not having any problems, what setup are you guys using. Is there a certain way to have these various types of programs setup, beside the default? Ive been on this for about three days already, but I will not give up!:bang:

Step 2: Disable AnyDvdHD
Step 3: Create image file from files/folders with ImgBurn
Step 4: File, Browse for a source folder, select folder
Step 5: Options - UDF 2.50
Step 6: Build
Step 7: Right click on iso, properties, Shows (Opens with: mount files with VCD)
Step 8: Highlight iso, select open, click PowerDvD 8.0

just a question why are you ripping the movie with anydvd then making an ISO? why dont you make a straight ISO of the disc?

WTF? Why would you do it that way? Make an ISO from disc itself. With AnyDVD enabled or disabled, but, use ImgBurn read mode!

your actually doing double the work for worse results because your probably not including all the folders needed for playback in powerdvd 8 like the certificate folder

UnforgiveN,

Instead of what you did #1, just insert the disc and don't do anything, if any player pops up just close it. After that, please continuous step 2 and it should be fine. Let us know if you still have any problem.

No no. He needs to change step 3 to use ImgBurn read mode. We don't want it building from folder structure at all.

UnforgiveN and SamuriHL
Yup, I overlook and yes, since you're doing from disk to ISO please follow SamhuriHL. I was thinking you are doing from already convert files.

The reason I did it that way is because when I was going to go disc to iso, imgburn gave me a message that the disc was protected.

Okay so now heres what I did.

Step 1:Loaded BD, PowerDvD pops up, close PowerDvD
Step 2:With AnyDvDHD enabled open Imgburn
Step 3:Create Image file from disc
Step 4:Without doing anything in Imgburn I click read

After iso is made I doulbe click, it reads for a second, Powerdvd pops up, nothing plays.

Now is there a specific setting im supposed to have this on because on my laptop with xp I have no problems playing dvd iso's? The other thing is when I try to play dvd iso's I have transfered from my old to new computer they wont play either.:bang:

ignore this message it doesnt matter if you want you can go into the setting in IMgburn and disable this message
use imgburn to make the ISO and keep anydvd disabled then during playback enable it and everything should play fine after you mount it using either virtual clone drive or daemon tools

Don't feel like re-reading the thread. What are you mounting the ISO with? I recommend Virtual CloneDrive 5.4.0.0 beta.
