• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
Situations like this will always happen with AnyStream: streaming providers are continuously improving their countermeasures while we try to catch up, it's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game. As a new user of AnyDVD, CloneDVD, CloneDVD2, CloneCD, I looked for some kind of instruction sheet but was unsuccessful. Is there someplace I can find out how to utilize these programs to backup a DVD or CD. Maybe it would indicate whether I should employ CloneDVD or CloneDVD2. Maybe tell me under what conditions I should use one or the other. I am not really interested in a technical discussion of these programs. I would prefer a "Step by Step" procedure that would produce a DVD Copy or a CD Copy depending on what I need. Thanks.

1. For Clonedvd, click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476
Use Clonedvd for commercial dvd movies only that you want to compress onto single layer blank discs.

2. I prefer using Clonecd to make double layer backups of dvd movies: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=327
Clonecd will aslo backup pc files that may appears as bonus features or extras (for example, wallpapers, screensavers, etc.)
Clonedvd does not backup pc files. Clonecd requires source and destination disc sizes to be the same.

3. You can use Clonecd to make 1:1 backups of audio cds. Just select the audio cd profile in Clonecd.

4. Anything involving PC games is either going to require Clonecd or Gamejackal--not Clonedvd. Clonecd does not handle all game protections by itself without emulation. Quite often it's simply better to use Game Jackal, especially if a game requires emulation.
