I am new at ripping HD disc so please bare with me. To rip a DVD HD do I need to use DVD-R 2 layer blanks or will single layer blanks work? Also do I need a 2 layer DVD writer? I need to know the answer to this before I purchase the AnyDVD-HD software.

AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
