Game Jackal blocked by Kerio Personal Firewall

When I try to run GJ with the firewall enabled, nothing happens, no game screen loads, no error message.

When I disable the firewall, GJ loads, but then I get the message "Unable to connect to the Game Jackal server. Error-exception occurred with client connection test. Error: no connection available."

I have tried to configure Kerio to allow the GJ executables, but since I do not get a popup telling me which executable it has blocked, this does not seem to be working either.

The games I am trying to run do not require an Internet connection. Why should GJ care whether I am online???

I don't have Game Jackal.

But when Game Jackal is launched, Task Manager should list the executable(s) associated with it under it's Processes tab.

(I use Process Manager which is a better, more detailed version of the basic Task Manager).

Maybe then you will be able to add a particular executable as an exception to your firewall program.
