Forgive me if this has been asked before, I couldn't find an answer.

Since using CloneBD I've noticed that every recording to a 25 GB Bluray disc results in free space not being utilised during the recording, should it be? Could this space be used to reduce compression?

The image below has been enhanced in Photoshop so hopefully easier to understand what I'm driving at.

Perfectly normal. Besides you don't WANT to use every last bit possible. The closer you get to the outer edge, the more prone to write errors.
