Hi, Can someone help please.

I am trying to copy M2TS files from a BD disk to play on my media player.
ANYDVD says
Summary for drive H: (AnyDVD HD 7.1.3.0, BDPHash.bin 12-11-23)
TSSTCORP BDDVDW SE-506BB TS00 1113
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

Current profile: BD-RE
Media is a Blu-ray disc.

Total size: 11826176 sectors (23098 MBytes)
Video Blu-ray label: DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER
Media is AACS protected!
Drive supports bus encryption!
AACS MKB version 25
Failed to send host key!
ERROR processing Blu-ray disc!

The Disk was burnt by a Pansonic Blu-Ray machine (I can find the model number if it is important.)

I have purchased a Samsung Blu-Ray USB drive to be able to read the BD Disk.
When plugged in my WIndows 7 says Installed successfully.
There are no Drivers (that I can see) on the installation disk - there are only Video editing type programs (which I do not need as I have video editing software)

I have processed M2TS files burnt from this same machine previously but with an LG blue-Ray drive that was leant to me.
I suspect that the previous files were not encrypted the same way (they were not HD and these files are HD - and I suspect it is the HD encryption which is being problematical)

Any advice on what to try next?
Thank you

Issues

The Cyberlink software that comes with this does not play a BD. I have having lots of BD issues with this drive. Are you able to play a BD and with what software?

Is that all the info required? - there are many other files in the logfile folder but if they are needed how do I upload them to the forum? (or is it obvious :)

Forget it

The READ errors on BluRay mean = no chance for a copy. Sorry, BDs do not have sector protections so read errors mean the disc is defective even if it plays.

Aha - Some progress made.

I have borrowed an LG Blu-Ray drive and this reads the M2TS file and I can play it once copied.
So the "fault" must lie in the Samsung Drive but how can I solve this?

Either get a new disc or drive, not much else you can do. Either the disc is borderline and the drive doesn't like it or the drive is failing

Before assuming the Samsung drive is defective try cleaning the lens even if it is new. Some have had luck with those cleaning discs, but I still think the best way is with Q-tips and Isopropyl alcohol.

Make sure you use 100% (i.e., 99+%) Isopropyl alcohol. And a VERY light touch.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use brush-type cleaner discs designed for CD and/or DVD; they will almost certainly damage your BD lens. There are some discs with brushes supposedly designed for BD, but I'm skeptical of them; I've used a brushless Maxell cleaner disc (with holes that supposedly create a vortex to clean the lens), but can't fully vouch for its efficacy. If you plan on being serious about cleaning the lens, grab the Q-tips and 99+% isopropyl alcohol.

You were supposed to post the entire Zip file, but in your case the read errors were enough.
